There are few animals that I spend more time looking for than North American River Otters. River Otters are challenging subjects to find and photograph, but well worth the effort when you’re finally able to photograph them. Otters are members of the weasel family, they’re very social mammals and extremely curious. Here are some videos that I’ve made with Otters in the past, as well as a video clip I’ve never shared before, the moment an Otter stole my GoPro! Luckily he lost interest in the camera and I got it back, but the moment was still nerve-wracking as I watched, hidden in my blind as the cheeky Otter ran off with my camera.
